Not a lot of news today except that it was hot and muggy and I felt unwell, although not bad enough to stop me singing with the choir tonight. This morning I had a quick trip into town to withdraw some cash and I bought myself a new handbag! It's not the expensive one I really wanted at 129€ but a cheaper version for only 23.50€. It is large, blue and leather, with tan coloured, plaited leather handles, and is much smarter that the tatty, tapestry handbag I have been wandering around with for the last few months. I will be able to carry everything in my bag, including the kitchen sink. Tonight I was at a choir practise, where we were preparing for our concert on August 14th at Burg Warberg. This Saturday we are singing all day at a choir seminar. Here are three more Braunschweig Lions, the top one has her cub, and the one below are both bench supports from the seats outside the Cathedral. The bottom Lion is in a beer garden in Prinz Albrecht Park. Tonight it is very hot and muggy.
